  Visited for Sunday lunch with my Husband & Nan and the staff were absolutely wonderful. So friendly and despite being very busy they were on top of things. The food was fantastic. The Sunday dinners were just perfectly cooked and with lots of flavour. They even agreed to bring out a birthday cake (provided by ourselves) to my Nan and the rest of the pub sang to her!! Upon arriving home, my husband noticed that they had not charged us for the wine we had so he called them to settle the bill over the telephone. The gentleman he spoke to told him not to worry and enjoy the drinks on them! The pub itself it a little small but what it lacks in space it makes up for in character! We will definitely be back.

  Cosy and friendly pub. Small, but that's part of its charm. Ales are particularly good; served in much better condition than the chain pubs. Food (both main and pudding) was very tasty too.

  Nice pint quick service lovely melt in the mouth roast beef dinner friendly bar staff no nonsense can't fault the place!
